Welcome to Mr. Tan's Robotics Class webpage!

My Robotics Class is a hands-on, project-based elective that provides students with opportunities to explore engineering, technology, creativity, leadership, and innovation. Rather than relying primarily on lectures and traditional assignments, students learn by designing, building, programming, testing, documenting, and improving authentic projects while working collaboratively with their peers.

This repeatable course is designed to grow with students over time. Whether enrolling for the first time or returning for additional semesters, students are encouraged to continually develop new technical and professional skills while taking on increasingly challenging projects and leadership opportunities.

Here you can download the Robotics Course Syllabus.

Almost all students who take my Robotics Class choose to participate in one or more of the following competition programs:

Independent engineering projects provide opportunities to explore robotics, automation, electronics, microcontrollers, embedded systems, or other instructor-approved engineering projects outside of a competition setting.
